I have recently been struggling with the whys and whats of this trip called life. The answer hit me in the head today (between the eyes to be exact). Actually the answer came the very first time I started asking my whys and whats. I ran across the answer in one of my old journals. The answer that came may not be the ultimate answer or truth, but in my opinion it is a key.

I look back now and I realize I still went on a so-called spiritual path looking for the Holly Grail or something of great magnificence. I realize now that the idea of a spiritual path is not find something but to share something. The spiritual path is to realize the Holy Grail is within you and than by filling others you fill yourself.

To tell the truth the answer has only been working in my life subconsciously, as of late. For example: I started the Heart Connection to join people together, but with the answer under the surface I could not see why I was being pushed to start heart connection and bring people together.

The answer applies to everyone, even those people that we think we hate. After all the people that anger, push, and hurt us are the ones that are most spiritually connected to us. For through these situations we are urged to look into our dark parts allowing them to be exposed so that God may bring light to them.

The answer applies to all religions from Baptist to Zen. The fact of the matter is that the answer joins and ties them together. Does it really matter how people believe to the degree that we are to busy in pointing out what is wrong with everyone else?

Ascension is the big buzzword in the New Age world at this time. Most New Agers are looking for a way out of this place called Earth so that they may find nirvana. What if the whole purpose of this place called Earth is to create Nirvana/Heaven here? Why wait till you die or vanish into another dimension to have bliss here? Ascension on a global level can not take place until we can rid ourselves of things such as bigotry. Look at Kosovo — it seems in all time we have been here on earth we have not progressed very far. The answer works here too.

The one answer that persist after other answers have failed (just as I wrote it 9/12/96):

“If we are here to learn (as some say we are) than it must be relation or relating lessons. I’m sure God doesn’t care if we can balance a checkbook or pass the eleventh grade — He does become joyous with us at these accomplishments, but God thinks there are more important things. How we treat our fellow man. In all experiences!”

What is unavoidable in every life — in every day? RELATIONSHIPS! The family you are born into, the school you attend, the job where you work, the supermarket you shop at, the drive to work — all of these things put you in contact with people. Where ever there is an interaction between two people a relating is happening. Even if you try to avoid having any relationships by becoming a hermit you will still have to contend with the relationship with yourself.

If the most important thing on trip Earth is relationships then what is the right way to treat your fellow men and women. The answer to that is what ties all religions and spiritual beliefs together.

The answer is LOVE, and that answer can be found in every sacred text from Buddhist to

Methodist. Instead what should tie religions together is overlooked. Love is traded for my way is

the right way. This does not create Heaven on Earth it creates We Are Right. I can not believe

God wants it that way.

One of my teachers (I say teacher because everyone I have ever run into has taught me something) and friends asked me “Why do you always see children fighting and then five minutes later they are playing together?” The answer is that they value the joy (playing together) over being right.

Take a moment and imagine what it would be like if everyone came from a place of love when every relating to someone else. Now I am not talking about a love that lets people walk all over you. Sometimes hard-love is required, but this is still coming from a place of love. Heaven on Earth would be realized. Actually if “react with love to everyone and everything” was a commandment there would be no need for any other commandment for it would make any relationship a right relationship.

To be honest I fall short of reacting with love at all times with all people. It seems when I get in a hurry, or I get too involved with what is going in my life I forget to always react with love. I was so impressed by someone recently. This person was in the middle of some hard times and yet was able to be so genuinely kind to me, because I was having a bad day. I felt like slim for being down when my problems did not by any means match what she was going through. That one reaction of love helped me change my whole attitude.

I desire to help create heaven here on earth. I want to help create a place of harmony where people ~work together with love for the sake of their fellow men and women. I do not know how this is going to look or work. I am asking for your help. Each of us has causes we believe in. Litter happens to be one of my causes. What is it that you would like to see change to help create heaven on earth? My desire is to use the Heart Connection as a tool to bring people together to take action with love in order to start creating Heaven on Earth, or at least in this area. I do not want to form a group to just sit around and talk about what is wrong with the world. I am looking for people who are willing to start backing words with action. For example doing a food drive, picking up trash on East Side, collecting clothing for the homeless and the list goes on. If you are interested call or right.
