The conscious I am is not what gets our goat, it is the unconscious negative I ams we carry deep within us that get us. I ams, like “I am a Disappointment”, run our emotions, mental states and actions in and with the world (everyone else).
Most of our I ams come from childhood where we interpreted what was happening around us. This is why it is soooo very important to communicate with your children.
I ams are created and past on from generation to generation. I ams are beliefs we hold about ourselves. They trump thoughts and emotions, so things like affirmations might temporarily cover them up but not truly erase a negative I am.
For me these negative I ams are the driving force of what we falsely call karma and any other negative thing that happens in the world.
On page the “THE APPLE DOESN’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE (Passing of the Poisonous Fruit)” page it shows how a mother unconsciously creates a negative I am for her daughter and how the daughter’s (now a mother) I am creates a negative I am for her son.
If you don’t read any further at least try this: the next time you have a negative experience ponder this and see what comes. “This person/experience makes me feel like I am _______.”

We see on this page how easy it is to create a negative I am in a child.
A mother's I am unconsciously creates a negative I am for her daughter.
The daughter’s (now a mother) I am creates a negative I am for her son.
On and on it goes!
