GANESH

This is a short video meditation on Ganesh. As you mediate on Ganesh's image focus inwardly upon the Ganesh within.

Ganesh is know as the god that removes obstacles in our lives. By praying/focusing on Ganesh he removes the obstacles out of our life. This is a complete internal process, for we (ourselves - our perceptions/expectations/beliefs) are the obstacles in our own lives. Ganesh is not an external God even though he may manifest in certain aspects of outer life.

Ganesh represents an actual physical part of the human/animal anatomy - the reptilian brain.

Brain.........................Ganesh
Pons..........................Face
Medulla......................Trunk
Cerebellum..................Ears
Trigeminal Nerves.........Tusk

As kundalini rises up the sushumna channel if our consciousness is not clean/clear Ganesh blocks it from rising into the higher brain. This prevents poisonous minds from possessing true power.

Temples were built to represent the internal process. Pyramids (fire in the middle) represented the enlightened mind: the king chamber (pineal) and queen chamber (pituitary). Elephants were used to mark the entrance of old temples. You had to get past them to enter the sacred temple.
