Howdy Peoples!

We didn't sit down as a whole group last night, which is fine. There were smaller groups discussing different things. I wanted to pass on to everyone some of what was shared, in case you might have had the same experience.

NEXT MEETING

This coming Sunday 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Remember:

1. Leave your phone in your car. For starters, it is distracting and disrespectful of others. Second, I want the energy field of the meditation room(s) to be uncluttered. People use to go meditate in caves for good reason. the think walls cut down on the interference around them. Now a days we have even more interference of an artificial nature...cell-phones and wifi. Just leave your phone in the car. Thanks

If you can't take an hour away from your phone, I'd rather you wait till the next group. I will always send out a recording of the meditation.

2. Wear loose clothes.

3. Bring a jacket or blanket if you tend to get chilled.

4. I will be locking the door at 6:30pm so get here by 6:25pm

WARMTH

There were a couple of people that felt warmth in a particular part of their body or all over when sending the "Peaceful Light." This is to be expected. Energy is warm in nature. Think about how warm the sun is. As energy builds and is moving it can be felt as a warm or even hot sensation.

HANDS OF LIGHT

Deborah noticed her hands getting (mine did too) hot during the meditation. This is also to be expected. My Qi Gong teacher started Qi Gong as for personal growth. After practicing Qi Gong (energy movement) for a time, I forget how long, her hands began to hurt. She went to her teacher and he said it meant it was time for her to start healing. Here in the West we do things a little different if not backwards. Here we are taught healing techniques, and maybe you will learn how to build your own Chi. In the East, where my teacher's teacher is from, they are taught energy exercises that build there Chi and eventually once the personal clearing and building is complete they get the signal to start healing/working with others.

The hands getting hot is the signal that your body is full of Chi, and you can start giving it to others.

It is very important to always work on yourself, especially if you are wanting to work with the healing of others!!!

HEART

I noticed, as I radiated the peaceful light from my head into my issues, that my heart felt warm and expanded. This was something I wasn't expecting. A groovy side benefit...opening in the heart chakra! I believe, feeling the peace is the key. Anybody else feel that?

EXTRA CREDIT

If you are so inclined to, here is an idea. Take a moment or two during the "Radiating Peace" mediation and send it to global problem ares that you feel drawn to. Like the oil spill, starving children in Kenya or in American cities...whatever. Just send your peaceful light as far out and as wide as you want or can!!!!

BREATHING

Breathing is VERY important. Breath carries Chi. There are pranayamans that simply live off of breathing no food and little drink. I am not recommending this...just saying that breath is our #1 priority.

Trish noticed that her in breath was very short compared to her out breath. You would think that they should be the same. How can you breath eout longer than in? Doesn't it make sense that if you inhaled in to the count of four that you should only be able to breath out to the count of four? When we do not breathe in and out completely stagnate energy/chi/air gets locked up in the lungs. As the physical lungs open up more and the energy channels are cleared your in-breath will get longer and longer.

This is a video of Iyengar, a well known and respected yoga teacher from the East. It shows you the power of Pranayama. He is in his mid 80s in this video. His inhalation is almost a minute long and his exhalation is 30+ seconds.

When you breathe in, your body scans it self. Most dense (bone) to most subtle (chi and e-motions). We unconsciously become shallow breathers. What do you do when you hurt yourself, like smashing your finger with a hammer? You hold your breath! An unconscious effort to not feel the pain. Over time, from physical and emotional pain, we become very shallow breathers. Out body only gets to scan the dense parts of the body in shallow breathing. When we breath deeply and fully the body is able to scan the blood, lymph, chi and e-motions, and is thereby able to correct problems that are present in these areas.

Remember that a physical pain always has energetic as well as e-motional connects, so if your body is unable to do a complete scan it can completely heal it's self.

GUIDANCE

Keep your eyes and ears open for guidance!!! Lots of the sessions I have had or have given simple open doors and my eyes to things I couldn't see before. when you shine light on a problem like we do in the mediation, be aware and awake enough to catch the feedback you will get from all around. It may be a book a friend recommends, a supplement that catches your eye and on and on and on.

WEBSITE

I am putting a page together where you can look at past posting, pranayamas and meditations. When he inhales, watch how much his lungs expand. Your lungs can't do that when your muscles, ribs, diaphragm and vertebrae are rigid from lack of energy flow.
