BRAIN and Eye of Horus

BRAIN: The container for RA (Spirit).

Horus: Risen One, Son and/or Sun

The Eye of Horus is code for the Thalamus in the brain and some of its connections.

The Thalamus: Pupil of Eye

Corpus Callosum: Eyebrow

Brain Stem (Medulla Oblongata, Pons, Spinal Cord/music): The straight line going down.

Cerebellum: Spiral

Pituitary: Tear duct

Pineal: Back of eye

The pineal gland, the receiver, the pituitary gland, which is the sender, and the Thalamus, which is the true single eye, that's why this gland is called the OPTIC thalamus, Optic, meaning to see, to have vision.

We must go through the SON/Sun to connect with God/Heaven (our spiritual power…birthright).

BRAIN

Corpus Callosum: The corpus callosum is the brain's largest fiber track pathway. It interconnects the two cerebral hemispheres and is divided, front to back, into four parts---the rostrum, the genu, the body, and the splenium. It is a fundamental structure, and its fiber tracts are essential to the interhemispheric exchange of brain signals, including the support of memory, learning, and sensory functions of the brain.

Ventricles: I also believe that the ventricles in the brain are also being referred to by the Eye of Horus. It is interesting that they are filled with liquid (cerebrospinal fluid). I have to do more studying concerning them. I copied what is below on the ventricles from http://www.bobschuster.com/bif/structures/.

Ventricles. The ventricles are four connected cavities within the brain that are filled with cerebrospinal fluid. The two larger structures---the right and the left ventricles---are located in the respective hemispheres of the brain within the frontal, occipital, and temporal lobes. The third ventricle is smaller and is positioned between the two lateral ventricles---with the cerebrospinal spinal fluid flowing from each through a channel called the interventricular foramen. The fourth ventricle is positioned even lower---and the CSF moves from the third ventricle through the narrow cerebral aqueduct of Sylvius. The cerebrospinal fluid---in the ventricles as well as in the subarchnoid spaces and the spinal canal---acts as a liquid buffer or cushion, absorbing and distributing forces and providing the brain with a measure of resilience. The volume of CSF can vary, thereby permitting the regulation of the total capacity of the cranium. This feature of ventricular activity has particular relevance to brain injury that causes atrophy. The ventricles can increase in size, filling the space that used to be occupied by the healthy brain tissue before its damage, death, and atrophy. Accordingly, enlargement of the ventricular spaces---dilation---can be clinically important in assessing the extent of atrophy and brain damage. The dilation can also be noted with other spaces---in addition to the ventricles. For instance, the perivascular space---the area surrounding blood vessels in the brain (also known as Virchow-Robin spaces)---can be dilated, indicating atrophy in the adjacent tissue structures.

It appears that the ventricles are not only the Eye of Horus but also the OM symbol!!!

3D not 2D

Remember that the Eye of Horus is a 2D representation of an actual 3D structure. Just like the Star of David is 2D representation of the MerKaBa.

In our meditation we don’t want to just focus on the Eye of Horus, we want to get in touch with those parts of the brain it represents.

Here is a link to a 3D rotating picture of what we will be focusing on.

The only difference is that the Corpus Callosum (the red part in the 3d pic) fans out like wings. Hmmm…I wonder if that is the wings at the top of the Caduceus Staff (chakra system)…and maybe the Orb is the Thalamus/Sun/Sun.

HORUS = LIMBIC BRAIN

The Limbic Brain is known as the Bird Brain. Here is a picture of the God Horus. He has a Bird Head/Brain.

Reptilian Brain: Ganesh: The spinal cord (Pons, Medulla Oblongata is associated with automatic functions of the body. The things that happen without us having to think about them: Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Breathing, etc..

Limbic Brain: Is associated with emotions and neuro-chemicals. The Limbic brain can be used to control the Reptilian brain and its functions as well as Reptilian traits al related to survival: gang mentality, marking territory, fighting etc etc .

Mammalian Brain: Is the nurturing part of humanity. It is being able to see the larger picture which should bring about compassion.

Stages of Evolution

Fish – In Water (mother)

Stage: In the womb

Amphibian – Crawls out of water (mother) but stays close

Stage: Childhood

Reptilian – Strike out on one’s own, away from water.

Stage: Going out to seek one’s place or power. Dinosaur= to big for breeches

Bird – Rising above earthly limits. High perception

Stage: An awakening to the connectedness of all things and what is really important.

Mammalian - Nurturing and caring for others

Stage: Seeing the larger picture brings about compassion and caring for everything.

ALL SEEING EYE

Jesus is usually shown with a light around his, much like a sun.

The center of the sun is where the Thalamus is located.

GANESH REPTILIAN BRAIN

STUCK IN SURVIVAL

Keep people in survival modem and they will spend their energy/spirit trying to fight against the obstacles in life.

However, if people can rise up and use a higher part of the mind to overcome what appears to be obstacles…the obstacles will disappear!

The Elephant

Ganesh is known as the remover of obstacles.
